Calling writers, artists, creative entrepreneurs and businesses and all interested parties: The Waterford Cultural Quarter team are organising a free crowdfunding event in Garter Lane Arts Centre. Crowdfunding can be an innovative way to raise funds to assist with publishing costs or for creative projects so make sure to come along and learn all about it.
We are delighted to welcome Andrew Hetherington, CEO of Business to Arts as the main speaker at the event. The talk and discussion will centre around brokering, enabling and supporting creative partnerships between businesses, individuals and the arts. Andrew will speak about the crowdfunding platform Fund it as well as other initiatives.
Members of the Waterford Cultural Quarter team will also give a short presentation on their recent learning journey to Ibi, Spain.
