Celebrating International Day of the Girl, Waterford Library Service, The Shona Project, and Beat 102 -103 present Rise:2018 on Thursday 11 October in Carrickpherish Library, Waterford.
This event will see over 350 Transition Year girls from secondary schools across Waterford attend this inspirational and empowering free event where speakers will discuss topics from mental health and body image to bullying, self-belief and ambition.
Speakers include: Tammy Darcy, Emily Duffy, Sarah Doyle, Nikki Bradley, Ellen Coyne and Caroline Foran with a performance from singer Stephanie Rainey.
