Bealtaine Festival is Ireland’s National Celebration of the Arts and Creativity as we age.
The festival takes place each May and is coordinated by ‘Age & Opportunity’, the national organisation which promotes active and engaged living as we get older.
For the month of May, Waterford Libraries are delighted to be taking part in the National Bealtaine Festival with a wide range free events in libraries across Waterford City and County.
You won’t want to miss the Bealtaine Flagship Choir’s Dawn Chorus. Chosen as the Festival’s Flagship Choir, Waterford Libraries Bealtaine Choir will perform at 8am on Sunday May 7th at Dunmore East Library an uplifting setting for an uplifting event!
