This year the Annual Europe Direct Soapbox Public Speaking Competition took place online.
Entrants competed in two categories (18 and under & 19 and over) and were invited to deliver a three minute speech, recorded on video, for or against the topic: Everyone wants to go back to the pre-Covid way of life.
Waterford Regional heat winners will be announced on Wednesday 2 December at 10am with special messages from Ireland South MEPs, Grace O’Sullivan and Sean Kelly.
A big thank you to our judges Una Kealy, Conor Nolan and Jim Lenane.
(This event will last 17 minutes).
