The Malcolmson Family – A Social History by Maria Walsh
Maria Walsh, a local author, is set to deliver a talk on the intriguing tale of the Malcomson family, drawing from her book ‘Dunmore East – A Social History.’ With unparalleled access to the family’s private archives during her research, Maria’s talk promises to unveil lesser-known facts about the family.
Adding depth to her narrative, she will incorporate photos from the Malcolmson family’s personal collection and the Cologne, Germany archives, where the brothers played a pivotal role in the development of German industrialization in the Ruhr Valley.
