Dungarvan Library is delighted to host an exhibition of images from several photographers who have attended previous years of ‘The Gathering’.
The exhibition will run from 2pm Friday 19th May to 5pm Saturday 20th May in Dungarvan Library.
The Gathering is organised by Julian Ashleigh, Peter Fitsimons and John Tynan. Now in its 5th year, The Gathering gives film users an opportunity to meet some old friends and make new ones, to discuss their cameras from Large, Medium to 35mm formats (yes and Pin-holes) of all types and the various processes they use.
The Gathering is not a club or workshop event, no fees are involved, you just come along and go as you please. It’s an informal meeting of minds, exchange of knowledge and most importantly having a fun weekend with their hobby photographing in and around the town of Dungarvan. The event will run over the weekend of 19th to 21st May 2023 in the Enterprise Bar, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
