Waterford Libraries are delighted to announce that due to popular demand, Ardkeen Library will host another evening talk with Bernard O’Connell covering Rural Electrification. The talk will take place on Tuesday 3 September at 6:30pm. Advance booking is essential as space is limited. The short film “Death of the Banshee” which was shown for Heritage Week, will also be shown at this event.
Ardkeen Library is currently hosting an exhibition of vintage ESB appliances including a 1940’s television, washing machines, cooker, kettles, radios and lamps which can be viewed until Friday 6 September.
