Join Waterford Council Biodiversity Officer, Marina Mulligan for an afternoon chat about the wildlife of Dungarvan Harbour Special Protection Area (SPA) for birds and the importance of the harbour for a variety of wildlife.

The journey begins by discovering the different species that call Dungarvan Harbour home, from the migrating Light-bellied Brent Geese to the more local inhabitants of it’s shores. From here, we will wander along the harbour observing coastal habitats and discussing the importance of protecting Ireland’s marine ecosystems.

When: Saturday 18th May 12 noon – 1:30pm

Meeting at: Dungarvan Library
