This workshop begins with looking at Eric Carle’s book, A Very Hungry Butterfly.
The Children will explore the illustrations and the paper making collage techniques used by Eric Carle in his books. They will then create their own collage using tissue paper and oil pastels on paper, exploring different materials for painting and mark making on paper.
The workshop will finish up with each child making a collage of a butterfly to take home with them.
