“Celebrating Craft A Dozen Perspectives”
Waterford VTOS, Art, Craft and Design Graduate Exhibition QQI Level 5
VTOS Waterford final year Art, Craft and Design students to showcase a selection of their artistic and creative endeavors at the Index Gallery, Waterford Central Library.
This exhibition will be a culmination of pieces designed and created by the students over the two-year duration of the QQI Level 5 Art, Craft and Design course run by Waterford VTOS, Durand’s Court, Parnell Street, Waterford, as part of the WWETB.
There will be a diverse range on display from the students, including ceramics, painting, glass, metalcraft, Jewellery, mixed media and woodwork.
The event will be officially opened Tuesday 2 April 2019 at 2:30pm at the Index Gallery, Waterford Central Library, Lady Lane, Waterford City, by the deputy Mayor of Waterford City and County, Cllr. John O’Leary. Refreshments provided.
The exhibition will then run daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm, until Thursday 4 April, inclusive.
This is a short-run exhibition, not to be missed and an opportunity to see some local creative talent and the great work being done locally by VTOS in the area of adult education. It would be of particular interest to anyone with an interest in pursuing a career in Art, Craft or Design.
