We are delighted to host digital skills workshops at Central Library this October, focusing on learning how to do more on tablets.
The workshops take place over five classes starting on Monday 14th October and continuing on 21st Oct, 28th Oct, 4th Nov & 11th Nov from 10:00am – 12:00pm

– An Introduction to the internet
– Internet Safety and Security
– How to send & receive emails and attachments
– Using online government services i.e. Motor tax, passports etc
– How to use YouTube
– How to use RTE Player
– Google Maps
– Online shopping
– Tips and Tricks
Each person attending these classes will receive 10 hours free classroom training. Class duration will be 2 hours per class. Classes are kept small to ensure one on one time with the class teacher. A Tablet will be provided for use during each class but please do bring a notebook and reading glasses if needed.
