Military Records Research Workshop – British Army Military Records with Mary Anne Maher & Larry Scallan
Researching military history is, in many ways, very similar to conducting genealogical research, as many of the same principles and methods apply.
This workshop will guide participants through a range of key sources and online platforms, helping you to locate and interpret British Army records.
If you already know your ancestor’s full name and approximate dates of birth or service, you are well placed to begin searching for further detail.
Participants are warmly encouraged to bring along any information they have and would like to research during the workshop, as well as their own laptop or tablet.
Date: Wednesday 12th November, 2025
Venue: Central Library
Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Free Workshop – Places Limited.
Booking is Essential.
