Family Time at Your Library

Family Time at your Library aims to support a family-focused approach to reading with children as part of the national Right to Read programme and to increase awareness of the benefits of reading and promote reading as a fun, recreational activity for children. The whole family are also introduced to collections of children’s books, e-books and e-audio books to support the involvement of the whole family in children’s reading.

Borrowing books is just one of the services available at Waterford Libraries.
Did you know that you can enrol for online courses via the Waterford Libraries website? In fact, there are over 500 online courses available, as well as other online services such as Borrow Box, online language learning for members, as well as online Local History resources and digital magazines and newspapers!

In order to help you access our online services, and to celebrate the fantastic resource that is Waterford Library, we are giving away five Samsung Galaxy Tablets on WLR FM’s Oliver Carroll show next week- one tablet each day from Monday December 13th!
