National Carers Week takes place across the country from 13th – 19th June.
Dungarvan Library is delighted to host an Art for Fun and Wellness Workshop on Saturday 18th June 2022 from 11:00am – 12:30pm as part of National Carers Week.
Art for Fun and Wellness is a chance to take a break out of your normal day to have fun with colour, shape and texture stimulating your imagination and senses. Art is not only good fun but it is also good for us enhancing brain function and improving emotional wellbeing.
This class is an all-ability class with a broader theme of ‘Caring for Ourselves and our Loved Ones’. You need bring nothing but yourself – all art materials will be supplied.
Phil Mortimer is an artist, designer and tutor in West Waterford, where she has been working with community groups for many years creating and developing a rich variety of art/craft activities that appeal to diverse abilities and interests. She also enjoys a cuppa and a chat.
