Waterford Libraries are delighted to welcome debut novelist, Elaine Garvey, to Central Library Waterford on Saturday 11th October at 3:00pm.
This continues our Writers at Waterford Libraries series.
Elaine Garvey is from County Sligo, Ireland. Her short stories have been published in The Dublin Review and Winter Papers. Her first novel, The Wardrobe Department, was published by Canongate in February 2025. She began writing the novel on a Stinging Fly fiction-writing course with Sean O’Reilly and continued it under the Words Ireland mentorship programme with Danielle McLaughlin.
