Central Library celebrated Christmas in style with a very enjoyable Christmas Carols and Coffee morning on Monday 9th December. This event was held in collaboration with U3A Waterford and Europe Direct Waterford. Our very own Bealtaine Choir entertained 125 people with beautiful renditions of seasonal Christmas Carols as well as spoken word recitals.
Thank you to the infinitely enthusiastic Mr.Trystan Russell and his 5th class students from St. Stephens de la Salle National School who did an incredible job singing and performing spoken word. What a great intergenerational event this was with everyone present singing along!
Thanks to everyone for supporting our wonderful library by attending this super gathering. We hope you enjoyed the delicious refreshments, entertainment, and companionship. As a very kind lady who attended the event said, “every time I walk into Central Library, I’m struck by how welcoming the atmosphere and the library staff are”.
On behalf of Central Library, we would like to wish everyone in our community a very Happy Christmas and New Year! It has been our pleasure to serve our community in 2024 and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025.
