Work Matters at the Library is an initiative supporting business start-ups, job seeking or career changes.
If you need support in any of these areas, then Central Library here in Waterford is the ideal starting point. We will support you in finding the information you need, whatever that is.
We have a varied collection of books and eBooks on business start-ups, job seeking and employment, as well as daily newspapers, free PC access and WiFi.
Through our online resources you can get access to free courses in CV writing, interview skills, business plan and grant proposal writing along with 100s of other free courses. We also have access to free eMagazines covering business and computing and free online language learning courses. Self service printing, photocopying and scanning facilities are also available.
Access to these resources is free through library membership. Becoming a library member is easy just click here and fill out the online membership form. Once your membership is processed you can start using the library resources to kick-start that job search, career change or research that idea you’ve always had for a new business.
