If you’re taken aback by technology or compounded by computers, the Adult Literacy for Life Digital Help Hub is for you.
The Digital Help Hub, a free pop-up service will be in Waterford throughout November and December to provide insightful tips and tricks to navigate the digital world.
WWETB Tutors will be available to help users understand technology better, and how to use digital devices (phone, tablet, laptop) skillfully and safely; for everything from surfing the internet safely, downloading apps, and staying connected with family and friends.
It will also provide practical advice and guidelines on how to fill in online forms, how to use egov.ie, mywelfare.ie, the National Childcare Scheme, Revenue, SUSI, Choice Based Letting for those on the housing list, and much more.
The Digital Help Hub is an initiative of the Adult Literacy for Life (ALL) National Strategy. WWETB, Waterford City and County Council, Waterford Library Service, WAP and Healthy Waterford have collaborated to bring this free and confidential initiative to Waterford City and County.
The Digital Help Hubs will take place in Waterford City between 10am and 2pm on:
• November 9th, 16th and 23rd at City Square
• November 10th at Lisduggan Shopping Centre
• November 17th at Waterford Central Library
• November 24th at Ardkeen Quality Food Stores
Digital Help Hubs in the County take place on:
• November 30th, December 7th and 14th at Dungarvan Shopping Centre
• December 1st at Clashmore Community Hall
• December 8th at Dungarvan Library
• December 15th at Lismore Heritage Centre
