Is iomaí uair a roinn Niall a chuid scéalta in Áras an Uachtaráin. Is maith le Niall léirithe traidisiúnta chomh maith le léirmhíniú ar thaispeántais ghailearaí ar nós an Chéad Chogadh Domhanda, na Lochlannaigh agus an t-ealaíontóir cinéiteach Len Lye. Taispeánadh a sheó Tale Sophie (scéal saoil Sophie Scholl agus friotaíocht White Rose de Réimeas Hitler) den chéad uair in Erlangen sa Ghearmán i 2019.

The fabulous and energetic Niall de Búrca, a gifted storyteller from the west of Ireland is coming to Dungarvan Library on Thursday the 3rd October, at 7pm
Niall is hugely popular with audiences of all ages and has shared the Irish storytelling tradition on six continents in counties as diverse as Nigeria, Azerbaijan, and Lithuania. Niall has a unique ability to entertain all ages, Dungarvan are in for a real treat. Booking essential for this event, phone 058 21141 to book your seat.
Niall has performed in Waterford many times in the past and is extremely popular with all who have the pleasure of seeing him perform. Niall’s talents are diverse, he has provided the voiceover on abridged digital editions of many classic stories including CS Lewis Narnia, Roald Dahl’s Danny The Champion of the World. He has featured at the Hans Christian Andersen Centre in Odense, Denmark and at Helsingor where Shakespeare set Hamlet and performed in the European Parliament.
In 2021 Niall was awarded an Arts Council of Ireland Award Bursary to develop The Wild Atlantic Tales which toured theatres from Kerry to Derry in 2022. Niall has shared his tales on many occasions at the Áras an Uachtaráin. Niall enjoys traditional performances as well as interpretation of gallery exhibitions such as World War One, the Vikings and kinetic artist Len Lye. His show Sophie’s Tale (the life story of Sophie Scholl and The White Rose resistance of Hitler’s Regime) premiered in Erlangen, Germany in 2019.
