Join the fun at Dungarvan Library when we launch the Summer Stars Reading Challenge with a WLR FM outside broadcast from Davitt’s Quay in Dungarvan on Saturday 8th July from 1:00pm – 4:00pm with Timmy Ryan.
- Pick up your free “My Little Library Book Bag” for any child starting Junior Infants in September. Bags are available in Irish or English.
- Sign up your Primary School going child to the Summer Stars Reading Programme which encourages them to keep reading over the summer. Collect your reading card to track your progress and then return completed card to any library before the 31st August and Waterford Libraries will visit your school to present medals and certificates in Autumn.

- Summer Stars Star Wall (each child can add their own decorated star!)
- Find out about our free ebooks, eAudibooks, eServices and events happening in our libraries.
- Free buns, Spot Prizes and Plenty of Fun on the day!
- You might even get to meet Ragnall our ever popular Library Mascot!!
