Join us on March 26th at 6pm in Tramore Library for a Clothes Swap. Participants can exchange up to 5 items of good condition adult clothing for swap tokens before 5pm on the 26th. The swap will open at 6pm sharp in the Library.
Say goodbye to fast fashion and swap your old and unwanted items of clothing for items new to you. Extending the life of a garment by 9 months can reduce it’s carbon footprint by up to 30%.
It’s estimated there are over 100 billion new items of clothing made each year, with Irish people consuming 53kg of new textiles every year, twice the EU average.
Tramore Library will showcase a number of events in 2026 to promote sustainability and the circular economy.
Pop along on Thursday March 26th for some Eco Chic finds!
For more information please contact Tramore Library on 051 849594.
