The Well Festival is thrilled to present a special collaborative exhibition in the Index Gallery, Central Library, which demonstrates the wellbeing benefits of coming together to learn and share new skills in a safe, relaxed space. The exhibition which features unique showcases from Waterford New Community Women’s Shed and the Déise Men’s Shed runs in the gallery from Tuesday 31st January to Tuesday 28th February 2023 and can be viewed during library opening hours.
Waterford New Community Women’s Shed
This exhibition will visually showcase the remarkable journey of the participants of the Waterford New Community Women’s Shed, led by Caroline O’Toole.
Images and individual exhibits will illustrate the skills learned and shared among these incredible women.

Men’s Shed
Under the careful guidance of Willie Moore, this exhibition will showcase the work of men who come together to learn new skills and share their own talents and knowledge in a space abounding in supportive camaraderie.
