Summer Stars Reading Adventure Now On at Your Local Library!!
This year Waterford Libraries will run the Summer Stars Reading Adventure in all of our branches from June to 31st August 2025
Summer Stars is a reading-based programme, available free of charge to Primary School children, to encourage them to continue reading throughout the summer months.
A wide range of events and activities for children will also be held across our library branches to celebrate Summer Stars. Each child is invited to register for the adventure at their library and will be given Summer Stars Reading Card to record and track their progress.
At the end of the challenge, children return their reading card to their local Library, this must be done before the 6th September 2025.
During the autumn, children will receive their Summer Stars medal and certificate of achievement in school.
