Waterford Libraries – Open for Browsing and Borrowing

From tomorrow, Tuesday 1st December, Waterford Libraries will be moving to Level 3 of the Government’s ‘Plan for Living with COVID-19’ and libraries will be open to browse and borrow books.

  • Libraries opening for browsing and borrowing from Tuesday 1 December  at 10am are Ardkeen Library, Carrickphierish Library, Dungarvan Library, and Tramore Library.

 

  • Lismore Library will open for browsing and borrowing from Monday 7 December.

 

  • Portlaw Library will be available for Contact and Collect – please contact on 051 387402 to arrange books for collection.

Other branches in Kilmacthomas and Cappoquin will be reopening soon also.

 

In Waterford City, we have taken the opportunity during Level 5 to commence essential upgrade works on Central Library as part of the Government’s Small Scale Capital Works scheme so Central Library will be closed for these essential works for the month of December but we look forward to welcoming our customers back to Central Library in January to a newly upgraded Library branch.

Please note Lismore Library will not re-open until Monday 7 December due to Building Works.

Please note Portlaw Library will operate a Contact and Collect service, please contact 051 387407 to arrange books for collection.
