Waterford Libraries Virtual Bealtaine Festival 2020
Stay Connected and Creative with Waterford Libraries this May
Waterford Libraries are delighted to announce a fantastic line up of events for our Virtual Bealtaine Festival 2020.
Bealtaine is Ireland’s national festival which uniquely celebrates the arts and creativity as we age. This year as our Libraries remain closed Waterford Libraries are moving our events online.
Join us online this May as we welcome local representatives of the arts in the areas of Writing, History, Horticulture, Movement, Fine Art, and Music to share their work with us. Videos and links will be available to watch and enjoy online at your convenience on our facebook page www.facebook.com/WaterfordCouncilLibraries and here on on our website
Highlights include a Therapeutic Weekly Writing Class with Tutor Tom Mullane and an Interactive Lecture on Waterford Playwright Teresea Deevy with Dr. Una Kealy of WIT (Wednesday Mary 13th at 3:30pm), both will be available on zoom. To receive a link to these events contact jloughran@waterfordcouncil.ie
There is something for all with Gardening, Art, Music, history and poetry to keep your creativity flowing as we come together by staying apart.
