The Well Festival of Arts and Wellbeing, organised by Waterford Libraries, Garter Lane Arts Centre and Waterford Healing Arts Trust, will take place from 7 – 12 February 2022.
The annual much-loved flagship event “We haven’t had an earthquake lately…” will be hosted online on Friday 11th February at 6:00pm.
This event celebrates the joy of reading and members of the public are invited to come along and enjoy an uplifting evening of readings and music. Earthquake is one of our most popular events every year, with a great number of keen Waterford readers seeking to share their favourite feel-good writings with the wider public in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
If you would like to submit your favourite piece of writing (not self-written) for consideration for inclusion to the “We haven’t had an earthquake lately….” event, we would love to hear from you.
Submissions should be emailed to what@hse.ie by Monday 24th January with “Earthquake” in the subject line. Successful applicants will be invited to read their selections in public on the night.
