Poetry Day Waterford, supported by Waterford City and County Arts Office, invites you to join this workshop that will explore using the language of our everyday in poetry.
“If you have the words, there’s always a chance that you’ll find the way” Seamus Heaney.
The workshop will look at contemporary poets and their use of language. Time will be allocated for writing and for creating new work. Poets will be invited to share their writing during the workshop and via email afterwards if they would like feedback on their work.
This two hour workshop will be delivered over Zoom on Thursday 29th April at 11:00 AM.
We are offering FREE places to people based within Waterford City and County Council’s administrative area. As places are limited, your expression of interest will form the basis for selection. No correspondence will be entered into regarding decisions.
Expressions of interest must be submitted to poetrydaywat@gmail.com on or before Monday 19th April 2021 at noon.
