Creative Writing Workshop for Family Carers – National Carers Week – Ardkeen Library

June 14, 2022 to June 14, 2022 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Ardkeen Library is delighted to host a Creative Writing Workshop for Family Carers with Derbhile Graham on Tuesday 14th June 2022 from 11:00am – 12:30pm as part of National Carers Week which takes place from 13th – 19th June.

In this creative writing workshop, you will do gentle writing activities based on storytelling techniques that will help you give shape to your life experience as a family caring. You will learn to tell the stories of the people and places that are important to you and to structure the story of a typical day in your life. You will also learn how to tap into the senses to unlock your memories. This will be a relaxing and fun workshop.
