As part of Waterford City and County Council’s Diverse Waterford Oral History Project www.diversewaterford.ie, we are inviting community groups and individuals interested in oral history to a workshop with Dr. Tomás Mac Conmara, Oral Historian and Author at Central Library, Waterford on Friday 15th November at 2.30pm.
This workshop will include:
• Key pillars and ethics of oral history
• Interview preparation skills
• Technical skills (with practical demonstrations)
• Processing interview and curation
• Post interview work
The workshop will be interactive and will allow time for practice and discussion.
This is a free workshop but places limited. Booking essential.
